1. Legal notice (Impressum)

Realms GmbH
Seestrasse 52

Email: info@realms.ch
Commercial register: CHE-262.074.623

Responsible for the content of this website: Realms GmbH.

2. Who is responsible for your data

Realms GmbH (the “controller”) is responsible for the personal data processed through this website, within the meaning of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP / revDSG) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can reach us at the address above for any question about your data.

3. What data we process

a) Contact form

When you use our contact form, we process the information you enter — your name, email address, optional company name and your message — solely to respond to your enquiry. Providing this data is voluntary, but without it we cannot reply. The legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in answering your request.

b) Server log files

When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested and your browser type. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably, and rests on our legitimate interest in operating a safe website.

c) Analytics — Google Analytics

Subject to your consent, we use Google Analytics, a service of Google Ireland Limited, to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data (including a shortened IP address) on our behalf. This may involve a transfer of data to Google LLC in the United States, safeguarded by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. We use Google Analytics for statistical analysis only, not for advertising or remarketing. The legal basis is your consent, which you give through our cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.

d) Google Fonts

This site may load fonts from Google Fonts, a service of Google Ireland Limited. When a font is loaded, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address. This serves our legitimate interest in a consistent visual presentation. Where required, this is covered by your consent via the cookie banner.

4. Cookies & consent

Strictly necessary cookies are used only to operate the website and require no consent. Cookies for analytics (see above) are set only after you agree through our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the banner or your browser settings, and you can delete stored cookies in your browser at any time.

5. How long we keep data

We keep contact-form messages only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, then delete them unless a legal retention period applies. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and then deleted or anonymised. Analytics data is retained according to the settings configured in Google Analytics.

6. Recipients & third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with providers who help us operate the site — our hosting provider and, subject to consent, Google (Analytics and Fonts) — and only to the extent necessary. These providers act as our processors under a data-processing agreement, or as independent controllers where they determine their own purposes.

7. Your rights

Subject to the applicable law, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion; restrict or object to certain processing; and receive your data in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint — in Switzerland with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), and in the EU/EEA with your local supervisory authority.

8. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS). No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Disclaimer / liability

The content of this website is provided with care, but we give no guarantee that it is accurate, complete or up to date. Use of the website is at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, Realms GmbH accepts no liability for any damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, this website.

External links

Our site may contain links to external websites operated by third parties. We have no influence over their content and accept no responsibility for it; responsibility lies with the respective operators.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this page to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The current version always applies, with its date shown at the top.
